You are a New Guest if:

• This is your first visit

• Or you haven’t been seen by professional in 3+ months (12 weeks or more)

You are a Returning Guest if:

• You’ve already completed a New Guest appointment and are maintaining your hair regularly

If you’re unsure, choose ‘New Guest’ your appointment will be adjusted if needed.

Root + Honey is not a high-volume salon experience.

Each session is intentionally paced, sensory-aware, and rooted in scalp health, textured hair expertise, and ritual-based care.

Instead of rushing through services, time is structured to support the condition of your hair, your scalp, and your overall experience in the chair.

This means your appointment is not just about styling, it’s about maintaining the integrity of your hair over time while creating a grounded, restorative environment for you as a whole person.

Arrive with clean intentions and open energy.

No additional preparation is required unless specifically noted in your booking confirmation.

Each Root + Honey session is a space prepared with care, intention, and time reserved exclusively for you. Please honor that space by keeping the following in mind:

Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Cancellations or rescheduling made 2 calendar days or more in advance may be made without a fee.

• Changes made with less than 2 calendar days’ notice are subject to a100% cancellation feeof the reserved service amount.

• Rescheduling is considered a cancellation of the original session because that time was reserved exclusively for you.

Same-Day Cancellations & No-Shows

• Subject to a 100% cancellation fee and may result in limited future booking access.

Late Arrivals

• A 15-minute grace period is offered. Arriving beyond the grace period may result in a shortened or rescheduled session and applicable fees.

Frequent Rescheduling

• Repeated rescheduling of same appointment may require a 50% non-refundable deposit for future sessions or limited booking availability.

Emergencies

Life happens. WE GET IT.

• Medical emergencies and serious unforeseen circumstances will always be considered with care. Please reach out directly as soon as possible.

Financial Hardship & Community Care

Root + Honey is committed to being a community-centered business, and I understand that unexpected financial circumstances can arise. When a guest is experiencing genuine financial hardship, I may offer a one-time accommodation at my discretion.

Any accommodation is considered on a case-by-case basis and does not waive or alter the standard cancellation policy. Accommodations are not guaranteed and should not be considered an ongoing alternative to the established booking policies.

Sensitivity varies from person to person. Slayyy and REBUNDLE were developed with comfort and scalp-conscious wear in mind, but no extension product can guarantee that every person will be free from irritation.
