Choose Your Pathway
Booking Guide
Booking is the first part of the journey and it should feel intentional, grounded, and aligned with your hair journey. This is not about choosing quickly. It’s about choosing with clarity and care.
When you’re ready, you’ll be guided to our booking page in a new tab. Take your time here first so your selection feels supported, not rushed.
Once you’re redirected, choose one of two options in the “category” dropdown:
New Guest Rituals
Returning Guest Rituals
Each option supports you where you are now.
New Guest Rituals
For first-time guests or those returning after time away (12 weeks or more since last visit).
This pathway includes foundational care, scalp assessment, restorative treatment work, and styling to understand your hair in its current state.
If you’re unsure what to choose, start with:
New Guest Consultation Ritual
This allows us to assess your hair in real time and guide your care moving forward.
Returning Guest Rituals
These services are designed for upkeep, refinement, and continued progress.
Because your hair has already been supported, these sessions focus on maintaining results rather than rebuilding.
Loc’d Guest Rituals
Loc services are booked within both New Guest and Returning Guest Rituals.
You will select your service based on:
Loc count
Length
Maintenance needs (retwist or interloc)
*Starter Locs can be booked after your NEW CLIENT CONSULTATION RITUAL to ensure you are starting your journey with wellness for longevity.
If You’re Unsure…
If you feel uncertain about what to book, that is a valid place to begin.
Start with a Consultation Ritual or reach out to me.
From there, your next steps will become clear.

Root + Honey is not a high-volume salon experience.
Each session is intentionally paced, sensory-aware, and rooted in scalp health, textured hair expertise, and ritual-based care.
Instead of rushing through services, time is structured to support the condition of your hair, your scalp, and your overall experience in the chair.
This means your appointment is not just about styling, it’s about maintaining the integrity of your hair over time while creating a grounded, restorative environment for you as a whole person.

Yes. Root + Honey is a space that honors the connection between hair, body, and spirit.
Your presence, nervous system state, and overall energy are part of the care experience. This is not about performance or perfection, it is about showing up as you are so your hair and scalp care can be fully supported.
Nothing is required of you beyond presence and openness to receive care.
